2010 CMU Mobile Developer Survey

We are writing to invite you to take part in an important research study. The survey is aimed at improving our understanding of mobile application development, focused on developer practices for building mobile applications.

This survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete. There are no correct or incorrect responses; we are simply interested in your experiences and your point of view. Your willingness to complete the survey in its entirety will be greatly appreciated, although you may decline to answer any questions that you wish not to answer. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the study at anytime simply by quitting the survey before completion.

All responses to this survey are used for academic research purposes only and are completely confidential. Data is transmitted securely using SSL encryption for the survey link and survey pages during transmission. This research is sponsored by the CyLab Mobility Research Center at Carnegie Mellon University and has been approved by the University’s Institutional Review Board for compliance with human subjects research.
The results of this survey will be made public and will be available for download at http://mobileplatforms.wikidot.com/ in early 2010.

By proceeding with the survey, you acknowledge that you have freely chosen to participate in the mobile developer survey and that you permit the researchers to obtain, use and disclose the information provided. If you have further questions or concerns, or would like to contact us directly, you may send email to mobilesurvey@sv.cmu.edu
